La biblioteca Punkt.
La Biblioteca Punkt. è una selezione di libri che ci hanno ispirato negli anni, da quando Punkt. è stata fondata nel 2008, e anche prima. Ce la siamo portata dietro in parecchie fiere e eventi di design, per esempio alla Punkt. Design Terrace al Salone del Mobile di Milano.
La Biblioteca ci aiuta a spiegare cosa facciamo e perché lo facciamo, e la presentiamo come un contributo al più ampio dibattito sulla tecnologia e il suo ruolo nella società: il valore del design elegante e l'importanza di mantenere il controllo sugli strumenti elettronici. Se avete altri titoli da proporre, (aggiunto) accettiamo volentieri suggerimenti. Gran parte dei testi sono in inglesi, ma ce ne sono alcuni anche in altre lingue europee.
L'elenco dei libri è in ordine cronologico, e in cima ci sono le aggiunte più recenti. Sono tutti libri veri, con le pagine, il dorso e la copertina: moltissimi studi ormai confermano che leggere testi cartacei è ancora il modo più efficace per registrare quello che l'autore vuole esprimere. Potremmo avere due liste separate, una per il design e una per l'effetto della tecnologia sul mondo, ma in effetti quest'ultima è un sottoinsieme. Qualsiasi designer è perfettamente consapevole di quello che un prodotto può fare.
Per ciascun libro abbiamo incluso la descrizione dell'editore e un link al suo sito in fondo, ma non bisogna dimenticare che alcuni testi hanno editori diversi nei vari paesi e certi sono usciti in differenti edizioni nel corso degli anni.
