Simplicity in both design and function: now also available in white and brown.

After a very successful product launch at Somerset House last September, Punkt. will be returning to London during the Design Festival to unveil two new colour options for the MP 01 mobile phone. The MP 01 was designed by Jasper Morrison, and his shop in Shoreditch will be the venue for the event.

To mark the launch, Punkt. is offering visitors the chance to pick up a limited edition poster created by illustrator Anna Kövecses. The range of posters recently won the Poster Design Category at the Design Awards 2016 for successfully “humanising a technology-based topic” and “creating a smile in a dry sector”.

The MP 01 was first launched last Autumn – leading the telecommunications world in offering a stylish and up-to-date alternative to old-fashioned basic phones.

The MP 01 combines stylish, contemporary design with peaceful simplicity. It makes calls, sends texts, and gives you a break from the growing ‘always on’ culture. It’s most often used alongside a smartphone that is set to forward calls and texts whenever it’s switched off, allowing users to literally walk away from all those status updates, notifications and alerts.

The MP 01 offers an alternative to mass-produced, old-tech handsets. Its sleek elegance is matched by top-quality materials and premium manufacturing standards, producing a phone that – even before it is switched on – provides a concrete reminder of why the physical world is the world that matters. It’s not just a thin-as-possible pixel platform; it’s a solid, comfortable piece of equipment that is easy to pick up, feels great in the hand, and is never, ever going to bend.
