“It is simple, clever and both delightful and surprising in its operation”. Jasper Morrison.
Punkt. is delighted to announce the winner of our very first design award, which was set up in recognition of the outstanding design realisations by eighteen students of the Industrial Design Faculty of University of Art and Design Basel, HGK realised during a semester-long design programme in 2013. Punkt. travelled to Basel on October 28 2014 to attend the prize giving.
Selected by an appointed expert jury: Jasper Morrison (art director of Punkt.), John Tree (chief designer at Jasper Morrison Ltd) and Jovan Jelovac (Founder and Creative Director of the Belgrade Design Week) the winning project is the Reflection Projector (RP 01) by Flavia Braendle.
The Reflection Projector (RP 01)
Watch a movie at home, run a presentation in the office, or show a slideshow with friends from a computer, smartphone or tablet with this simple and compact transportable 2000 ANSI-lumen projector.
The design of the Reflection Projector offers a clever solution the problem of the projection angle often found in conventional projectors using a mirror to adjust the light beam. All your images fill the room when you open the lid of the RP 01. No tiresome navigation through endless interface screens, no intrusive supports; just an attractive design piece that works as soon as its hooked up to a smartphone or computer.
